HORMONE LEVELS

TOTAL TESTOSTERONE — Your overall testosterone level, and the main indicator of hormonal health in men.

FREE TESTOSTERONE — The active portion your body can actually use, often more useful than total testosterone alone.

SENSITIVE ESTRADIOL (SENS E2) — A highly sensitive estradiol measurement calibrated for men, offering more precision than a standard E2 test. Estradiol works in balance with testosterone, and therapy can raise it.

SHBG — A protein that binds testosterone and controls how much is free for your body to use, which makes it key to reading your true levels.

ALBUMIN — Another protein that binds testosterone, used together with SHBG to calculate your free testosterone accurately.

PITUITARY & REPRODUCTIVE HORMONES

LH (Luteinising Hormone) — A pituitary hormone that signals the testes to produce testosterone, so it reflects how your body's own production is being affected by therapy.

FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) — A pituitary hormone central to sperm production, which makes it an important marker for fertility.

PROLACTIN — A hormone that, when elevated, can suppress testosterone production, so it helps round out your hormonal picture.

THYROID FUNCTION

TSH — The main screening marker for thyroid function, the system that helps regulate your metabolism and energy.

LIVER HEALTH

AST — A liver enzyme worth keeping an eye on with hormone therapy, since it can add to the liver's workload over time.

ALT — A second liver enzyme, read alongside AST to give a fuller view of how your liver is doing.
